Davies doubt for Swiss clash

West Brom manager Bryan Robson fears Curtis Davies may have to pull out of the England Under-21 squad for next week's European Championship clash against Switzerland because of injury.

The former Luton Town star took another knock on his foot injury in Monday's disappointing 2-0 defeat at Sunderland.

Davies had initially suffered a badly bruised foot in last Thursday's Carling Cup success at Leyton Orient.

"Curtis got another knock on it against Sunderland and it was quite sore at the end of the game," Robson told Albion's official website.

"It might keep him out for England Under-21s."
