Clubs handed FA charges

West Brom and Plymouth Argyle have been charged with failing to control their players by the Football Association following Saturday's stormy Championship clash between the two teams.
In the closing stages of Albion's 1-0 victory in Devon, a melee developed after Jerome Thomas had been sent off for a foul on David McNamee.
Thomas, who has also been charged with violent conduct for his role in the fracas, faces a four-game suspension as it was his second straight red card of the season.
An FA statement read: "Plymouth Argyle and West Bromwich Albion have both been charged with failing to control their players following an incident in the fixture at Home Park on Saturday 6 February.
"The charges relate to a mass confrontation between players and officials in the Championship fixture.
"Meanwhile, West Bromwich Albion's Jerome Thomas has been charged with violent conduct in relation to an incident that followed his dismissal in the same fixture."
