Out: Joe Mattock & Jara Reyes (both Brighton, loan), Chris Wood (Bristol City, loan), Roman Bednar (Blackpool, free), James Hurst (Chesterfield, loan)

Verdict: Defender Liam Ridgewell was a good addition for the Baggies who will be hoping to avoid getting dragged into the relegation scrap. Roy Hodgson should have enough quality in his squad to make sure they survive this season although they will need to spend in the summer in order to improve their squad.
