Bednar leaves Baggies for Turkey

West Bromwich Albion striker Roman Bednar has joined Turkish top-flight side MKE Ankaragucu on loan for the rest of the season.The 27-year-old Czech international, whose Hawthorns deal expires in the summer, has signed with a view to a permanent move. Bednar was able to complete the switch as the transfer window in Turkey did not close until midnight on Tuesday. The £2.3m signing from Hearts has made eight appearances for Albion this term.
