West Bromwich Albion striker Roman Bednar is hoping to earn a regular starting spot with the Baggies in the near future.
The 25-year-old Czech Republic frontman has yet to start a game in the Premier League this season, but scored in the 2-1 defeat by Everton after coming off the bench.
Bednar told the Birmingham Mail: "I am sure any of the strikers here can score goals in the Premier League, but I am feeling really sharp and hopefully the manager will decide I am ready to play.
"I didn't have much confidence in pre-season, but that happens sometimes with strikers.
"Then I scored a goal against Real Mallorca and my confidence started coming back.
"I scored the penalty against Everton when I came off the bench and then scored two goals for the reserves against Tottenham and I am feeling really confident at the moment.
"If the manager decides to keep me on the bench I can't change that and I will be patient and wait for my chance.
"But I feel really sharp and I really believe that I can score goals for us in the Premier League."
