Banned Dorrans misses Town visit
Published : 21 Aug 2009 10:26:00
West Brom will be without Graham Dorrans for the home clash against Ipswich. The midfielder was shown a second yellow card late on in Tuesday night's 3-2 victory at Peterborough and will now serve a one-match suspension. Jonathan Greening missed out at London Road in midweek with his Hawthorns future clouded in mystery, and he will definitely be absent again this weekend after a loan agreement was reached with Fulham with a view to a permanent switch. Goalkeeper Scott Carson has since taken the captain's armband. Head coach Roberto Di Matteo has no new injury problems to contend with. But full-back Gianni Zuiverloon (hamstring), striker Ishmael Miller (knee), midfielder James Morrison (heel) and defender Neil Clement (knee) all remain sidelined. Roman Bednar is back training with Albion after serving his backdated three-month drug ban but, despite being available, Di Matteo insists he will not rush the forward back too soon as he gets back to full fitness.
