West Bromwich Albion have been given permission to play new loan signing Youssouf Mulumbu after receiving international clearance.
The Paris Saint Germain midfielder joined the Baggies in the January transfer window and could now make his debut against Newcastle United on Saturday.
However, Albion have yet to receive clearance to field fellow new loan signing Juan Carlos Menseguez.
Meanwhile, midfielder James Morrison is keeping his fingers crossed that a hamstring injury picked up by on-loan striker Jay Simpson in the FA Cup defeat at Burnley earlier in the week is not too serious.
"The injury list is still rather big and the manager was right to make changes against Burnley," he told the club's official website.
"Jay got injured on Tuesday night, which is another big blow for us. If Jay doesn't make it on Saturday it will be a massive blow.
"He scored his first Premier League goal against Hull last weekend and has given us a cutting edge in the few games he has played.
"As a striker you need to get a run to keep your confidence up.
"He's here on loan and he wants to play and learn. We're keeping our fingers crossed.
"But, if he doesn't make it, it will be another chance for someone else to come in and try and prove themselves."
