Baggies interested in Bentley
Sky Sports reporting former England international on radar
Former England international David Bentley is reportedly a transfer target for Albion when he leaves Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Sky Sports has reported that Albion are one of a number of clubs interested in securing the services of the former Arsenal and Blackburn winger if, as expected, he becomes a free agent.
Spurs paid £15 million to sign Bentley back in 2008 after the winger impressed at Blackburn Rovers. However, his career has stalled at White Hart Lane and has been loaned out four times in the last three seasons.
Bentley, who has seven England caps, finished the season back on loan at Blackburn Rovers. He has previously been loaned out to Birmingham and West Ham after failing to impress after a bright start to his Tottenham career.
Wigan and West Ham are other clubs reportedly interested in the midfielder.
