Baggies hope over Phillips

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Mowbray remains confident that Kevin Phillips will sign a new contract at The Hawthorns.

The 34-year-old striker is out of contract at the end of the season but Mowbray wants him to remain with the Baggies.

Phillips has netted 11 goals this season for the current Championship leaders.

"Things will get sorted out for everybody's liking I am pretty sure. It will be addressed at the right time," revealed Mowbray.

"No-one is questioning Kevin's quality, commitment or his ability to play for us, but players get to a certain age where there is no rush from either party."
