West Bromwich Albion have extended Sherjill MacDonald's loan spell at The Hawthorns until January.
The Netherlands Under-21 international striker joined the Baggies on loan from Dutch second division side AGOVV Apeldoorn last January and made ten appearances for the club.
MacDonald was sidelined by knee surgery towards the end of the last campaign but did enough to persuade Albion boss Tony Mowbray to extend his stay.
"We've all seen glimpses of what Sherjill can produce," he told the club's official website. "I see it regularly in training.
"Sherjill has undoubted quality and is gradually adapting to the English culture.
"Let's hope if he gets the opportunity next season he grasps it."
