Albion rule out injured Meite

West Bromwich Albion defender Abdoulaye Meite has been ruled out of Saturday's trip to Manchester United.
The Ivory Coast international has been sidelined for the last six weeks with a calf injury and has already been ruled out of the Baggies' Old Trafford date.
However, Albion boss Tony Mowbray has revealed that Chris Brunt and Filipe Teixeira are both in contention to return to action after recovering from hamstring and knee injuries respectively.
"Meite is a bit behind the other two," Mowbray told the club's official website. "He hasn't actually been around our training sessions whereas Brunty was joining in the warm-ups and Teixeira is doing pretty much everything.
"Hopefully we'll get him (Brunt) training this week and then we'll see how he comes through that.
"It's dangerous to rush back players with hamstring problems so we'll leave it with him.
"He'll join in training, see how he feels and put extra pressure on it to see if it can stand up to a game. We'll make a decision later this week."
