Albion dismiss Mowbray link

West Bromwich Albion have rejected reports linking Tony Mowbray with the managerial vacancy at Celtic.
The Baggies boss is the latest name to be mentioned as a possible replacement for Gordon Strachan following his resignation from the Parkhead hot-seat on Monday.
But Mowbray, who spent four years as a Hoops player, will not be leaving The Hawthorns this summer, according to the Albion board.
He remains the right man for the job despite West Brom's relegation from the Premier League this season.
"We have already made our position very clear on this situation and it has not changed," read a statement on the club's official website.
"We have not received an approach from Celtic for Tony Mowbray - nor would we welcome one.
"Tony is under contract for the next two years and we fully expect him to remain as our manager."
