A busy summer of transfer activity at West Brom has continued with the signing of Portuguese left-back Tininho from Beira Mar in a £230,000 deal.
The 26-year-old has penned a two-year contract at The Hawthorns, with the option of a further 12 months option in the club's favour.
Tininho spent a successful trial with the Baggies, impressing in the 5-1 pre-season friendly win against Northampton Town.
Boss Tony Mowbray told Albion's official website: "Tininho's got a wonderful personality, a nice left foot and is a decent athlete.
"I've certainly got no worries about him with the ball.
"He'll need time to adjust to the different demands of the English game, but we believe there's enough raw material there for him to make a positive impact at the club."
Mowbray has money to spend after allowing Jason Koumas and Diomansy Kamara leave the club earlier this summer for a combined fee of over £11million.
He has already signed Filipe Teixeira, Craig Beattie and Shelton Martis since the end of last term.
