Albion: No Mowbray approach

West Bromwich Albion have denied receiving an approach from Celtic for manager Tony Mowbray.
The former Celtic defender has been strongly linked with the Parkhead vacancy following the departure of Gordon Strachan.
However, the Baggies claim there has been no formal approach from the Glasgow club to speak to their manager.
"I can confirm that we have received no approach from Celtic regarding Tony Mowbray," confirmed a club spokesperson.
Mowbray could not prevent Albion from dropping out of the Premier League in their first season back in the top-flight.
But the former Hibernian manager is believed to be highly rated by the Celtic board, who are keen to make a swift appointment.
Motherwell's Mark McGhee and former Portsmouth manager Tony Adams are also in the running for the job.
