Welsh international midfielder Andy Johnson is bidding for a return to the West Brom starting eleven for the visit of
Everton to The Hawthorns.
The 28-year-old has made only two substitute appearances since the end of January, breaking a toe when scoring a late equaliser against Bolton.
However, after a successful reserve outing against Bradford, Johnson is back in contention for the Baggies.
He told the Birmingham Mail: "It's frustrating being out and people like Michael Appleton and Darren Moore must be tearing their hair out.
"When I was warming up on Saturday I got a good reception and, although you want the lads to do well in your absence, you like to be missed as well."
Johnson came of for the final 30 minutes of the 3-0 defeat at Middlesbrough last Saturday.
