Albion willing to sell Beattie

West Brom manager Tony Mowbray has admitted he would be willing to sell Craig Beattie this summer.
The 24-year-old Scotland international started only ten games for the Baggies last term following his transfer from Celtic and was loaned out to Preston North End towards the end of the season.
However, Preston have not expressed any interest in signing Beattie on a permanent basis, with Mowbray saying: "I've had no contact with Preston and no conversations with Alan Irvine last season.
"Craig is fit and working hard in the hope he can force his way into my thinking. I've had no conversations about any players going out. We're trying to get them in at the moment.
"But as we bring new players in, players will be looking around and seeing if they're going to get an opportunity. I'd suggest there will be a natural evolution of the team really.
"People will enquire about players and then I'll make decisions about where we're going to be. If one or two leave as the season draws nearer then so be it.
"I'm not the sort of guy who likes to push people out and stick them in a field so they get so disenchanted they want to go.
"Everyone has got an opportunity but ultimately footballers get a feel of whether they're going to be a part of something or not."
