Zola plans New Year Italian job for Bayern Munich reject Luca Toni
West Ham United are hoping to reach a compromise with Bayern Munich that would see Luca Toni move to Upton Park in January.
Gianfranco Zola is keen to add his compatriot to the ranks and reports in Germany say the east London club are reportedly happy to pay him a hefty £60,000 a week so long as he is allowed to move on a free transfer.
Toni fears he will fall out of contention for Italy's World Cup squad if he cannot get games at the Allianz Arena, where he faces competition from Miroslav Klose, Mario Gomez, Ivica Olic and Thomas Mueller.
