Zola: Hammers were not good enough

West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola labelled his side's display at Anfield in Monday's 3-0 defeat as "not their best performance this season".[LNB] Defeat for the Hammers left them three points above the relegation zone, having played one match more than 18th-placed Hull.[LNB]The Italian admitted he was disappointed with the display, especially their defending of set-pieces.[LNB]"I don't think it was our best performance. I think we started well and were comfortable on the pitch but the first goal changed things completely," said Zola, whose side face Wigan on Saturday in a crucial game for their survival hopes.[LNB]"I think we felt we couldn't come back from it. We all disappointed but it is not a moment to think too much about that.[LNB]"We made mistakes today. They were very costly and we didn't play very well.[LNB]"But we need to react straight away because on Saturday we have a very important game."
