West Ham co-chairman David Gold says Gianfranco Zola "deserves another crack" next season after leading the club to Premier League safety.[LNB] The Hammers beat Wigan 3-2 on Saturday to virtually secure their top-flight status for next season with Hull six points behind and on a hugely inferior goal difference.[LNB]Zola has received questionable public backing at times from Gold and fellow co-owner David Sullivan, but he looks likely to remain in his role at Upton Park.[LNB]"I would hope Franco stays," Gold said in the Daily Express.[LNB]"He has been through hell and back. It has been a very difficult season for him.[LNB]"Now he knows he is part of West Ham and he deserves another crack."[LNB]
