West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola was disappointed after his side went down to a Hugo Rodallega goal at Wigan. The Colombian striker netted in the 55th minute at the DW Stadium to condemn the Hammers to defeat. Zola was unhappy with how his side had started the second period after a goalless first half. He told Sky Sports: "Obviously in the second half I was expecting a different result because it had been quite a balanced game. "But in the second half, it is not the first time that we have started in a sloppy way and I don't like that. "It is something that we are going to be discussing next week." He agreed his team did not show their usual passing game at the DW Stadium. "We didn't really, especially in the second half, we couldn't get it going the way we normally do - that is another thing we are going to be considering during the week." On the positive side, Zavon Hines put in a great performance on his first Premier League start. "He was very good, especially in the first half. He caused them a lot of problems and I was pleased with his performance," said Zola, who also hailed the contribution of substitute Alessandro Diamanti, who showed some good touches and hit the crossbar. "Diamanti is certainly a player that has got something in his bag and we are going to try to use it as best as we can. Today was very positive."
