Wycombe Wanderers have signed West Ham United goalkeeper Marek Stech on loan for the rest of the season.[LNB] Stech has joined the League Two club after Scott Shearer was ruled out until next term due to an ankle problem.[LNB]The Czech Republic teenager has yet to make a first-team appearance for West Ham, but is highly regarded at Upton Park.[LNB]Wycombe boss Peter Taylor is happy with the deal and expects Stech to provide competition for current first-choice keeper Jamie Young.[LNB]"I've brought Marek in due to the injury to Scott Shearer," Taylor told the club's official website. "He will fill a space and I always wanted to have three goalkeepers at the club.[LNB]"I felt it was the right thing for the club to go and get the best one I could get and he will offer great competition.[LNB]"I haven't signed him to be No.2, but to push for the No.1 jersey. I would like to thank West Ham for letting one of the best young keepers around join us."[LNB]
