West Ham's Robbie Keane speeds up injury recovery in ice chamber with Frank Bruno

Robbie Keane is hoping to speed his recovery from a calf injury by sitting in an ice chamber. with Frank Bruno.

West Hamloan star Keane was expected to be ruled out for up to six weeks aftersuffering a calf injury in the 1-0 home defeat against Birmingham onFebruary 6, but the Hammers are desperate to have him back for theirongoing battle against relegation.

And the striker has been joined in the ice chamber by team-mate Jack Collison, a long-term injury victim, and British former world heavyweight champion boxer Bruno.

Collison revealed: 'Robbie and I had to sit in the chamber at minus 140 degrees for five minutes at a time. 

'We had to share the chamber with boxer Frank Bruno. It was great tomeet him but he made us look really weak as he was in there doing allkinds of exercises while Robbie and I just sat there trying to keepwarm.'
