West Ham youth star Dominic Vose arrested on suspicion of rape

Promising West Ham youth star Dominic Vose has been arrested on suspicion of raping a 16-year-old girl.[LNB]The 17-year-old, earmarked as a Premier League star of the furture, was interviewed by detectives over an alleged sex attack at a party.[LNB]The girl claims she was set upon at a property in Herne Hill, south London, last month, sources said.[LNB] Arrested: Promising West Ham star Dominic Vose has being quizzed on suspicion of an alleged party attack[LNB]Vose, who recently won his first professional contract after being signed for West Ham from Fulham, has been bailed until June.[LNB]Officers interviewed Vose last month, taking a DNA swab and fingerprints.[LNB]A Scotland Yard spokesman said: 'Officers are investigating an allegation of rape that occurred at an address in Lambeth on Saturday March 26. [LNB]'The victim is a 16-year-old girl. A 17-year-old male was arrested by appointment on Sunday March 27 in connection with the investigation.[LNB]'He was subsequently bailed to return to a south London police station in June pending further inquiries.'[LNB] High hopes: Vose wants to break through the ranks at Upton Park like former stars Joe Cole and Frank Lampard[LNB]Vose, likened to Paul Scholes for his midfield potential, signed his professional terms with the Hammers last November despite interest from big clubs Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.[LNB]He said then: 'I've just got to crack on now. Hopefully I will make it to the first team. I wanted to sign for West Ham because there is a path here for young players. [LNB]'The likes of Joe Cole, Michael Carrick and Frank Lampard -all of them have done it.
