[LNB]19.25: A fairly dull second-half eventually got going in the final 10 minutes but chances were a premium and a draw is a fair result.[LNB]Full-time: West Ham 1-1 Everton[LNB]90+5min: How is an anti-climax for you? Scott Parker lines up a free-kick 25 yards out but with nearly 21 players in the penalty box he chips the ball over everyone and wide.[LNB]90+4min: Final sub from Moyes, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov is on for Arteta.[LNB]Nearly a crisis for Everton Howard comes out to the edge of the box to bring down Hines but Webb does not even give a free-kick as the Toffees survive. [LNB]90+3min: Suddenly it's counter follows counter, It's taken a while but this game in it's dying moments is coming to life.[LNB]90+1min: Five minutes of injury time.[LNB]90min: Second sub from Everton, Jermaine Beckford is on for Pienaar, he has become a late goal specialist at times this season.[LNB]89min: Everton win a late corner but Baines' cross is headed wide by Yakubu, West Ham not under the cosh yet but we ar enot afr off.[LNB]88min: Everton doing all the late pressing and it's starting to get a bit desperate at the back for the Hammers, are we set for a late twist?[LNB]86min: Final sub for West Ham, Zavon Hines replaces Obinna who looks like he is being hauled off in the first minute of a cup final.[LNB]83min: Where is this action coming from? James Tomkins is nearly left red faced when with the ball on the line he chances an offside flag being raised for Cahill.[LNB]The Australian slides the ball in but Tomkins does indeed benefit form the linesman's flag.[LNB]As the old saying goes though when in doubt give it a clout and he certainly played that a little too risky.[LNB]82min: Take nothing away from Green this time though. Fellaini's towering header from a corner is a couple of yards to his right and Green does well to parry the ball away.[LNB]81min: Oh but wait there is our fourth! Cahill from close range can only shoot straight at Green who is grateful the clutches the ball grateful the shot was not either side of him.[LNB]80min: As we enter the last 10 minute there is a stat that sums up this game.[LNB]There has been three shots on target and Everton scored from their only one.[LNB]77min: More solid defending from West Ham, Pienaar finds Coleman out on the right on the counter but his cross is well cut out by Tomkins, leaving Cahill and Yakubu looking up to the heavens.[LNB]This is a tough game to be a striker, you're lucky to feed off scraps.[LNB]74min: Fellaini commits a foul 25 yards out and West Ham have a free-kick in a promising position.[LNB]Obinna steps up but the wall does it's job in blocking the strike.[LNB]72min: Slight worry for West Ham as Tomkins limps off, moments later though he is back on and he looks okay.[LNB]70min: Finally a chance! Sears does excellent to break down the right and rightly elects to square the ball across the box for Cole, but he gets his shot all wrong as his first-time left-foot drive zips across goal and wide. Not easy but given his Boxing Day form you would back him to score that.[LNB]67min: Everton are starting to just get on top. We look no closer to getting a chance let alone a goal but the away side are starting to run the midfield.[LNB] Watch your foot: Luis Boa Morte (bottom) slides in on Mikel Arteta[LNB]65min: There is our first booking. Pienaar attempts to scamper down the left but he is brought down by a sliding tackle from Kovac who sees yellow.[LNB]64min: Lots of people twiddling their thumbs in the crowd, tempo has fallen to a very slow pace, dare I say South Africa 2010 pace.[LNB]62min: Yakubu is on for Rodwell, can he get this game going? Someone needs to. Upton Park is falling asleep.[LNB]61min: Check back on that, Yakubu is warming up for Everton.[LNB]59min: This game had died a death and is desperate for something to kick-start it.[LNB]Moyes is taking no responsibility as he remains happy with the 11 that started the game but Avram Grant is preparing his final sub.[LNB]56min: West Ham manage to survive easily enough but here is the Hammers' second change as Cole replaces Piquionne.[LNB]55min: Cole warming up for West Ham as Everton win a free-kick to the right of the penalty area.[LNB]54min: Still in second gear but a good opportunity for Everton. Leighton Baines finds himself with acres of space on the left but his cross is easily caught by Green.[LNB]51min: Unlucky from Pienaar, he opens up an angle on the edge of the box but under pressure from Julien Faubert has to quickly get his curling right-foot shot away that just clears the crossbar.[LNB]50min: Credit to Howard Webb so far, for all these little fouls he hasn't resorted to using a card yet. He is doing his best to let this flow but it's struggling.[LNB] At arm's length: Tim Cahill (centre) and Luis Boa Morte challenge for a loose ball[LNB]48min: Obviously not. Very quiet opening to this half, very stop-start and no flow as yet.[LNB]46min: Just 10 seconds later Obinna has a snap shot outside the box that drags across the goal. Sign of things to come?[LNB]Second-half: No changes from either side as Obinna and Sears get the second-half going.[LNB]18.22: Time for a half-time stat from OptaJoe (warning, West Ham fans look away from this one):[LNB]2 - West Ham have won just two of the last 46 Premier League games where they were not in the lead at half-time. Sucker.[LNB]18.19: That scoreline is just about a fair one on the balance of play. Both sides have had spells on top but nobody has fully stamped their authority on the game.[LNB]Looking at the table neither side will fancy a point so that SHOULD give us some gung-ho football in the second half.[LNB]Half-time: West Ham 1-1 Everton[LNB]45+1min: Two minutes of added time and COleman nearly adds his second. He cuts on to his left foot in the box before slicing his effort wide. Plenty of claret and blue shirts to block his path to goal.[LNB]45min: Dashed unlucky from Parker, with options and time on the ball thinning by the second, he tries a chip on the edge of the box which has Howard in a panic as he stumbles back, before the ball falls on the roof of the net.[LNB]44min: Hammers fans fall silent as the away Toffees faithful  find their voices, their side are responding as they close out this half the stronger side.[LNB] Singing the blues: Seamus Coleman equalises for West Ham[LNB]42min: GOAL! West Ham 1-1 EVERTON[LNB]It's the first mistake at the back for the Hammers and they are made to pay. Cahill clips a ball to the back -post and an unmarked Seamus Coleman is in acres of space to finish from close range.[LNB]39min: And now Cahill, as he tugs on Matthew Upson's arm when contesting an aerial ball, it's not working for the Toffees.[LNB]37min: Even game this, Everton showing signs of frustration in some of their tackles with Fellaini notably late in his challenge on Obinna.[LNB]34min: That is indeed it for Ilunga who is replaced by Carling Cup hero Jonathan Spector.[LNB]33min: Bad news for West Ham, Herita Ilunga has pulled up with nobody near him at all, he does not look likely to continue.[LNB]30min: The away side are showing signs of getting back into this, Pienaar down the left is the source of their creativity  but the Hammers defence is standing tall to everything thrown at them so far.[LNB] Blocked: Seamus Coleman (23) fends off Frederic Piquionne[LNB]27min: A milestone start from OptaJoe as Parker is flagged offside after being put through behind the Everton defence[LNB]500 - Tony Hibbert's own goal for West Ham is the 500th goal in the Premier League this season. Monkey.[LNB]26min: Obinna clips the ball in the box and although Matthew Upson rises highest he can only head over the bar.[LNB]25min: A trip from Jack Rodwell on Tomkins gives West Ham a free-kick 30 yards out to the right. Obinna and Parker stand over.[LNB]23min: That goals has installed belief in the Hammers who are playing much the better football now.[LNB]20min: And even better on the same flank from Obinna who after nutmegging Arteta approaches the goal at an angle, before rocketing a shot that hits the back stanchion. He had better options in the box and was chasing tomorrow morning's headlines. [LNB]19min: West Ham looking the more threatening now, Freddie Sears shows some neat skill on the right flank, but his decent cross cannot find a claret and blue shirt and Everton scramble it clear.[LNB]17min: Everton respond with a corner of their own but Distin's header flies over.[LNB] First blood: West Ham players celebrate going a goal up after Tony Hibbert's own goal[LNB] [LNB]16min: GOAL! WEST HAM 1-0 Everton[LNB]The Hammers win their first corner after a Tony Hibbert miss-kick. Parker floats the ball in and Tim Howard does well to punch out James Tomkins' header. but it only falls as far as Radoslav Kovac, whose acrobatic kick is turned into his own-goal by Hibbert.[LNB]13min: Not what you expect from an away side. Everton with 70 per cent pf the possession in the opening 13 minutes.[LNB]10min: Some encouragement for West Ham fans though. Scott Parker wins the ball in midfield and it starts a counter through Piquionne. His ball to Victor Obinna in the box though comes to nothing as the winger delays too long before Everton get back in numbers and clear their lines.[LNB] Blink and you will miss it: West Ham's Scott Parker (right) takes evasive action from Tony HibbertFOR EDITORIAL USE ONLY Additional licence required for any commercial/promotional use or use on TV or internet (except identical online version of newspaper) of Premier League/Football League photos. (Photo credit should read GLYN KIRK/AFP/Getty Images)[LNB]9min: Everton seeing much more the ball, The Hammers midfield is starting to be over run as they drop deeper and deeper.[LNB]7min: Big chance for Sylvain Distin. Seamus Coleman picks him out superbly in the box but his first touch is woeful and as the angle to goal decreases he zips a shot across Green just wide of the post. A huge let-off for West Ham.[LNB]5min: No excuses for Steven Pienaar, Fellaini leads a mini-break but as he feeds the ball out left, the south African is flagged offside with the whole line to look across.[LNB]Thoughts elsewhere maybe like where he will be playing his football next year.[LNB]3min: Tactics watch. Cahill looks to be the sole man in attack with Fellaini playing more of a supportive role, both sides just trying to get a feel for this match with some conservative passing.[LNB]2min: Hammers looking sharp, Piquionne doing his shift down the left flank and Tony Hibbert could be in for a busy time.[LNB]Kick-off: Everton get us underway.[LNB]17.29: But here is my two cents anyway:[LNB]West Ham 1-2 Everton[LNB](Tim Cahill to score first with a header)[LNB]17.28: On that note Tim Cahill scoring a header has got to be a worthy shout for first goal. If I was a betting man that would be where my money goes.[LNB]Not that I'm giving betting advice as you only have to see my 3pm shouts to ignore any predictions I make.[LNB]17.27: David Moyes is so fed up with his strikers that he has not selected any for this match. It looks likely Marounae Fellaini and Tim Cahill will lead the attacking line.[LNB]17.25: Fans filling up at Upton Park, it's not as chilly in London as it has been and their should be a good turn out for this one.[LNB]17.24: But the Toffees are stuttering in the league, too often this season Everton have mis-fired up front but a win today and they are into the top 10.[LNB]17.21: Not to mention David Moyes' side have had a Christmas rest too after their postponement on Boxing Day.[LNB]Some obstacles, omens and fresh legs for Avram Grant's side to overcome.[LNB]17.19: But this is the wrong time to play the wrong club for West Ham.[LNB]Everton have taken more Premier League points off the Hammers than any other side they have played and after that impressive win at Manchester City are on a massive high.[LNB]17.16: For West Ham there is a big carrot dangling in front of them with the word safety written on it.[LNB]A win today and they climb out the relegation zone for the first time this season.[LNB]17.13: Here is the full news from Upton Park:[LNB]Carlton Cole is rested for West Ham's Barclays Premier League clash with Everton.[LNB]The England striker is on the bench despite netting the first league double of his career at Fulham on Sunday as manager Avram Grant rotates his squad, drafting in Victor Obinna, Luis Boa Morte, Julien Faubert and Herita Ilunga.[LNB]Mikel Arteta returns from suspension for Everton, who also recall the fit-again Steven Pienaar, with Tony Hibbert deputising for the injured Phil Jagielka.[LNB]17.10: Right here is the scenario. You grab your first away win since the first game of the last campaign and your main striker Carlton Cole grabs his first Premier League brace. Who do you start in attack for your next game?[LNB]According to Grant, not Cole. He bizarrely sits amongst the substitutes and I hope for the West Ham manager's sake this does not backfire on him, here is the full team news:[LNB]West Ham v EvertonWest Ham: Green, Faubert, Tomkins, Upson, Ilunga, Sears, Parker, Kovac, Boa Morte, Obinna, Piquionne. Subs: Boffin, Reid, Cole, Barrera, Spector, Stanislas, Hines.Everton: Howard, Neville, Hibbert, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Rodwell, Arteta, Fellaini, Pienaar, Cahill.
