Fun in the sun: Neill is considering a move to Spain Former West Ham defender Lucas Neill is mulling over a move to Spanish side Atletico Madrid despite being offered a new deal at Upton Park. The Australian international rejected a new one-year contract extension at West Ham in June but boss Gianfranco Zola is still keen on signing the experienced centre-half. Neill is also thought to have attracted interest from Blackburn, Hull, Sunderland and Turkish side Galatasaray. But the 31-year-old admits he could be ready to try his luck in Spain after 14 years of playing in England. Neill said: 'I am in talks with a club outside of England. That's been the hardest one because of the language barrier. It's a change of what I've been used to. A decision will take a lot of courage so that's why I've taken my time.'
