West Ham miss out on free deal to sign Miroslav Klose
West Ham have failed in an audacious bid to take Miroslav Klose to Upton Park. [LNB]The 32-year-old striker has taken South Africa by storm with four goals to fire Germany into Wednesday's semi-final with Spain, needing two more goals to break Ronaldo's World Cup goals record of 15. [LNB]However, he was on the periphery of Bayern Munich's first team last season and before the World Cup and the Hammers were told that he could be available on a free transfer.
