West Ham United are pressing ahead with their moves for experienced South American internationals Mancini and Luis Antonio Jimenez from Inter Milan. Chief executive Scott Duxbury flew to Italy last week to discuss the deal which will bring the experienced internationals to Upton Park on one-year loan deal. There is an option to make both deals permanent at the end of season with a fee for each pre-agreed. No other club could sign them unless the Hammers forgoe the option. Left winger Mancini, 28, has 15 caps for Brazil and joined Inter last summer from Roma. Chile skipper Jimenez, 25 today, is an attacking midfielder.
