West Ham are set to offer Robbie Keane a six-month loan deal in the hope the Tottenham striker can save them from relegation.

The Daily Telegraph reports Keane is now seen as the ideal man to bring goals and a winning mentality to Upton Park.

The Republic of Ireland striker rejoined Tottenham for £12 million at the start of last year, but has lost his place at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham will reportedly use the deal with West Ham to try and tempt Scott Parker to move in the other direction - but the Hammers are adament that is not an option.
