Target open to switch

Inter Milan teenager Mario Balotelli admits he would be open to a move to West Ham rather than carry on warming the bench at the San Siro. The 18-year-old played under Hammers manager Gianfranco Zola when he was working with the Italy Under-21s and was linked with a move to Upton Park during the January transfer window. Balotelli could be allowed to move on loan next season to get some first-team experience. "There were times when I wanted to play and I would have joined a smaller side in a foreign league rather than sitting around on the bench here," he said. "But that's just normal and it's part of who I am. If I don't get to play then I want to leave. "If the club agrees and a big team want me in the future then I would be happy to move abroad and try something different."
