West Ham striker Freddie Sears hopes he has played his way into manager Sam Allardyce's thoughts ahead of Saturday's clash with Blackpool.[LNB] The 21-year-old came on as a late substitute in the 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace last Saturday before scoring a fine goal in a friendly win over Thurrock in the week.[LNB]"The aim is to catch the manager's eye," Sears told West Ham TV. "Every time you play you have to give him something to think about.[LNB]"I was delighted to score at Thurrock, to get on the pitch and get some minutes. It was about doing the job properly and that is what we did.[LNB]"The ambition is to get a start. Obviously it's hard at the minute, there are a lot of good players in the squad.[LNB]"Everyone is in the same boat, you have to do your best to try to get in the starting XI."
