Reid facing uncertain future

Wolves' on-loan winger Kyel Reid admits he does not know where he will be playing next season. The talented winger joined Mick McCarthy's ranks in January and helped the club to the Championship title. However, the 21-year-old is due to return to parent club West Ham after Wolves' last game of the season against Doncaster Rovers on Sunday and is unsure as to where his long-term future will lie. "I'm due to go back to Upton Park at the end of the season and we'll see what happens with them first before I can think about anything else in terms of moving," Reid told skysports.com. "I'd love to go back and be told that I will be given a chance at West Ham, but football is cruel sometimes. "Mick hasn't spoken to me yet about whether I am in his plans for next season or not, but we will probably talk about it before I return to West Ham, so nothing is certain yet." Reid scored the crucial equaliser last weekend in a 1-1 draw with Barnsley to help Wolves clinch the second tier title and he has revealed his delight at being part of a side which booked a passage back to the Premier League. "It was a great day for the club and it was nice to get on the score sheet, especially against one of my former clubs and it was a great achievement," he said. "It has been a brilliant experience to come here and help the lads cross over the finishing line and they have got a great set-up here. The fans are great, the coaching staff is good and the team spirit here is excellent, so I've really enjoyed my time here."
