Reid All White for Hammers

Winston Reid is aiming to bring a bit of World Cup magic to West Ham after completing his move from FC Midtjylland. New Zealand defender Reid signed a three-year contract at Upton Park on Thursday night after the Hammers agreed an undisclosed fee for the 22-year-old. Reid helped make his country one of the stories of this summer's World Cup, with the All Whites securing surprise group stage draws with Slovakia, Italy and Paraguay. The defender, who scored a last-gasp equaliser in the first of those games, said: "The World Cup was a life-changing experience and something I will remember forever. "I want to bring the positives from that here on the pitch at West Ham. "This club has a great history and the league is one of the best in the world. I am looking forward to the challenge ahead."
