West Ham new boy Frederic Piquionne wants to improve on his goal record at Upton Park after admitting he is "not the most prolific striker".[LNB] Piquionne's goals-to-game record has never been anything more than modest during his career so far and it proved to be the case again last season as he scored just five goals in 34 Premier League games on loan at Portsmouth. [LNB]However, the Frenchman scored a further six goals in cup competitions and did enough to convince Avram Grant he was worth re-signing, this time for West Ham.[LNB]Piquionne now wants to prove that was the correct decision.[LNB]"My best characteristics are I'm good in the air, I'm quick and I try to keep the ball," said the 31-year-old.[LNB]"I'm not the most prolific striker, like maybe Fernando Torres or Wayne Rooney, but I think I can score many goals.[LNB]"I know English football now and I can score more goals than ever before."[LNB]
