Parker touch and go
West Ham's influential midfielder Scott Parker is rated as extremely doubtful for this evenings visit to Anfield following a chest infection. Parker is being assessed by the Hammers medical staff before the game but is unlikely to be fit enough to make the team. Grant told the official site, “Scott has a problem. The doctor has been checking him and we are not sure if he will be available for the game. I can fight only with things I can change so we can play with other players but he has a good old-fashioned English attitude. This is why we have a squad, for situations like this.”
