Parker: Olympic stadium perfect for Hammers

West Ham captain Scott Parker is adamant "everything works out perfectly" for the club to move into the Olympic Stadium after the 2012 Games. The Olympic Park Legacy Company (OPLC) are to mull over final submissions from Tottenham, who would scrap the athletics track, and the Hammers, who would keep it, ahead of a likely decision next week. Tottenham's prospective move from north to east London would be a further bone of contention and Parker believes everything is set up for his side to win the decision - despite opposition from some of their own fans to a move away from Upton Park. "I think everything works out perfectly, geography-wise and to move the club forward," he told Sky Sports News. "Certain people don't like that change but it's only going to drive the club forward. "It will be exciting, you want to play in the best stadium and the Olympic Stadium will be that."
