Parker has no doubts over Green
Scott Parker expects West Ham team-mate Robert Green to bounce back from his latest blunder in the 3-1 Premier League home defeat by Chelsea.[LNB] The visitors could not have asked for an easier warm-up game ahead of their midweek Champions League clash against MSK Zilina in Slovakia than their Upton Park assignment on Saturday.[LNB]The Blues were ahead in the second minute when Michael Essien headed home Didier Drogba's corner and then a double blunder from England pair Green and Matthew Upson saw Salomon Kalou make it two in the 17th minute.[LNB]Goalkeeper Green spilled Drogba's 30-yard free-kick and when Upson tried to clear the loose ball, it smashed of Kalou and into the net.[LNB]Essien headed a third for Chelsea in the 83rd minute from Paulo Ferreira's cross before Parker's lob dented their goals-against record this season.[LNB]It is West Ham's worst start to a season but scorer Parker is confident that Green, who also blundered for England in the World Cup against the United States, will bounce back from his latest setback.[LNB]"Greeny is a very strong character," said Parker, who signed a new long-term deal with the club last week. "There has been more than one time since I have been here that he has kept us in the game.[LNB]"That is what happens. When you are a keeper one mistake is highlighted where I can probably go and make five mistakes and no one speaks about them. As a keeper you make one mistake and it is punished. He is a great keeper.[LNB]"We were playing a very good side in Chelsea and we always knew it was going to be a tough game.[LNB]"Morale is high. It has been a difficult start for us. We are not kidding ourselves. We would like points on the board. We have had a difficult start but at the same time we need to win games. We know that and we are trying our hardest with everything we are doing in training.[LNB]"We are going into games to win the match. At the moment it has been a bit tough. The quicker we can get some points the better really."[LNB]Carlo Ancelotti has set his sights on going further in the Champions League this season after guiding his team to an unbeaten start to the season.[LNB]Chelsea's 3-1 victory over the rock-bottom Hammers left the reigning champions on top with four straight wins from their opening four games and their London rivals rooted to the foot of the table without a point.[LNB]Chelsea were given an injury scare when captain John Terry was forced out of the action with a rib injury but Ancelotti is hopeful that he, along with injured Frank Lampard, will be fit enough to play against Zilina on Wednesday.[LNB]Ancelotti is already looking at resting a number of players, while Drogba is suspended.[LNB]The Italian coach is determined to improve on last season's performance in Europe which saw Chelsea go out in the last-16 stage at the hands of eventual winners Inter Milan.[LNB]"I'll change the line-up because I want to rest players," confirmed Ancelotti.[LNB]"I don't want to think the Champions League is more important than the Premier League.[LNB]"Both were very important last season, this season the normal thing is to think more about the Champions League, but we don't want to say the Premier League is not important.[LNB]"We would like to win again, and the normal step is to want to do better in the Champions League. We went out too early and want to do better this season.[LNB]"Our aim is to improve, to do better and stay involved in all the competitions until the end of the season, to give continuity to the victory of last season.[LNB]"I'm not under pressure, I will put myself under pressure, I don't have pressure from outside. I want to put myself under pressure because I want to win."
