Parker backs Hammers team-mates

Key West Ham midfielder Scott Parker is confident the Hammers are good enough to secure their Premier League survival without his services.[LNB] Parker will miss West Ham's next two games after picking up his 10th booking of the season in Sunday's 2-2 draw at Everton.[LNB]It means Parker will be forced to sit out this weekend's home game with Sunderland as well as the clash at Liverpool on 19 April.[LNB]Parker is disappointed to miss the two games and he has called on his team-mates to build on the battling point at Goodison Park.[LNB]"I'm very disappointed to miss two games having been sitting on a 10th yellow card for six or seven games," said Parker.[LNB]"I only had the next game to get through and it was cleared. I will take the Everton result over that though any day. It is a good starting point. [LNB]"It is going to be tough for the rest of the season, but we are up for it. I hope we can push on. [LNB]"We all deserve it - players and fans - and hopefully we can go on and do that. [LNB]"When I come back I'm sure we will be in a good position and kick on." [LNB]Rescue bidMeanwhile, Hammers striker Ilan has called on Gianfranco Zola to give him the chance to fire the side to safety.[LNB]The Brazilian striker came off the bench to grab West Ham a point at Everton and he believes his side need to win three of their last five games to guarantee survival.[LNB]"We've got five games left and need to win two or three of them," Ilan told The Sun.[LNB]"I've not had many opportunities here but I've scored a couple of goals. If I play more, I might score more."
