Crystal Palace are considering a bid to bring West Ham's young striker Freddie Sears to Selhurst Park on loan. Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola is believed to be ready to allow the talented teenager to leave Upton Park on a temporary basis to gain greater first-team experience. Palace boss Neil Warnock is looking to bring striking reinforcements to the club and is pondering a possible move for Sears. "I will speak to (assistant boss) Mick Jones and our chief scout about him and have a look at our scouting reports," Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser. "Freddie Sears is the sort of player that would interest us - we are looking for players of Premier League quality and experience." Sears burst onto the scene last season with a debut goal against Blackburn but has struggled to nail down a first-team spot this term.
