Obinna backs Hammers to emerge from slump

Victor Obinna maintains West Ham's time is coming - but would take a bad team performance if it meant three points. The Hammers are rooted to the foot of the Barclays Premier League following just one win from 13 matches. However, manager Avram Grant feels his side are doing the right things to turn promising performances into maximum points following successive frustrating home draws against West Brom and Blackpool last week. Next up is a trip to Liverpool, and Nigeria striker Obinna - on a season-long loan from Inter - feels the Irons are not far away from getting everything together. "We have to speak to ourselves and try to improve," the 23-year-old told WHUTV. "We can all say that we play good football, but when you play good football and you don't win, sometimes it doesn't work. Sometimes you have to play badly and win and I believe our time is coming."
