ew West Ham skipper Kevin Nolan is desperate for midfielder Scott Parker to remain at Upton Park.[LNB] Parker, who was expected to leave the Hammers during pre-season, played in the club's 2-0 friendly victory over Spanish side Real Zaragoza at the weekend.[LNB]And with the east London side opening their Championship campaign against Cardiff on Sunday, Nolan is keen for Parker to be involved.[LNB]He told the local Guardian: "We've got some top players and if we manage to keep hold of Scotty [Parker] it's going to be fantastic for us.[LNB]"Obviously we hope the five weeks can fly by and from a selfish point of view we can have him here for the season.[LNB]"I know that he's happy here and he loves the club. So hopefully we'll be able to keep him just on the basis of that."
