Noble: Hammers have the spirit

West Ham midfielder Mark Noble maintains the Hammers have the close team spirit needed to beat relegation from the Premier League this season.[LNB] The Hammers stopped a run of six straight defeats with a battling 2-2 draw at Everton last weekend, but remain just a point clear of third-bottom Hull, who have a match in hand.[LNB]Sunderland are at Upton Park on Saturday in a game which under-pressure manager Gianfranco Zola knows his side cannot afford to lose.[LNB]Noble insists the Irons have the right focus to secure their place in the top flight.[LNB]"None of us want to be in this situation, we are proud of who and what we play for. We know what we have to do for the rest of the season," Noble said on the club's official website.[LNB]"We have got a bit of spirit. [The point at Everton] shows we can come back.[LNB]"We are a group. We are one changing room.[LNB]"Everyone is positive. We all get on well and it is not a split camp.[LNB]"We are a team and it is the team that is going to get us out of trouble.[LNB]"We have really shown what we can do. The boys are happy, the manager is happy but we have got another home game coming up and we have to win that."[LNB]Midfielder Noble, however, accepts the Irons face a difficult challenge ahead in their remaining fixtures - which include games against Liverpool and, on the final day, Manchester City, who are both chasing fourth spot.[LNB]"We want three points and then to go to Liverpool and give them a tough game," he said.[LNB]"We know that Anfield is a tough place, but we got a point there last year and can do it again."
