Luis Boa Morte begins come-back

15 April 2010 11:23
Forgotten winger Luis Boa Morte has played his first game for the reserve side after recovering from a serious knee injury. The 32-year-old managed 45 minutes and was involved in the Hammers only goal as the reserves lost 4-1 to Wolverhampton Wanderers reserves. Boa Morte suffered anterior cruciate ligament damage whilst playing for the Hammers in their pre-season game with Tottenham Hotspurs as part of the Barclays Aisa Trophy in July 2009.  Despite the positive signs, it is believed to be too late in the season for Boa Morte to make any impression on Gianfranco Zola’s first team.
