urnley manager Brian Laws aims to put the squeeze on Gianfranco Zola on Saturday and ease his side's Premier League relegation fears.[LNB] A home win for the Clarets against Manchester City will bring them level on points with Zola's West Ham, who face Everton on Sunday at Goodison Park.[LNB]After securing only one win in 12 league games since taking charge Laws is determined to grab the chance.[LNB]He said: "Manchester City are in terrific form and we are not in terms of results. But we aim to turn that around and a win would give everyone a huge lift.[LNB]"It would put major pressure on West Ham, knowing we were grabbing their ankles and pulling them in.[LNB]"It is a great opportunity for us. We have to make it difficult for Manchester City. The pressure will be on them as they need a win to stay in touch with the top four.[LNB]"The important thing is getting that first goal. That could be massive. It would lift everyone's spirits, players and supporters.[LNB]"I feel if we approach the game in the right manner we have every chance."[LNB]Burnley go into the match on the back of a narrow defeat by local rivals Blackburn and Laws added: "We are hurting but now we are facing the richest club in the world.[LNB]"You look at their bench on Monday when they beat Wigan and it was powerful. It shows you the strength they have.[LNB]"But this is what our players have worked for - to play teams like this week in week out. That is the beauty of the Premier League."[LNB]Laws has a number of players out of contract in the summer but with Burnley not yet sure of their top-flight status, negotiations are on hold.[LNB]He said: "There are a lot of things we need to address. However, the most important thing is these six games.[LNB]"We have got to put as much sweat on our brow as we can in that time. Everything else goes on the back burner.[LNB]"It is not ideal but so be it. The players know it and accept it. They just want to concentrate on the games as well."[LNB]Former City full-back Stephen Jordan is one of those whose current deal is about to expire.[LNB]But he has backed his manager by stating he is happy to wait until the end of the season before discussing his future.[LNB]Jordan said: "We have just got to concentrate on the remaining matches and everything will sort itself out.[LNB]"I am just thinking about Manchester City this weekend and that's all really."
