Jacobsen: We must focus on Bolton

West Ham defender Lars Jacobsen has called for his team-mates to forget the disappointment of the home defeat by Manchester United and focus on getting three crucial points in their fight for Barclays Premier League survival at Bolton. The Hammers remain in deep trouble having surrendered a two-goal lead as United ran out 4-2 winners after Wayne Rooney's hat-trick at Upton Park. However, Jacobsen knows inflicting a third straight league defeat on the Trotters could put daylight between themselves and the drop zone. "You have to put the Manchester United game away now and look forward to the next game because it's going to be a battle between now and the end of the season," Jacobsen told West Ham TV. "It's a real opportunity at Bolton. We all know it's a difficult place to play but in the Premier League it's always difficult and it's a new chance for us. "With the quality and the players we have available at the moment that it's possible to go and get a good result at Bolton. That's what we have to do and focus on at the moment and put this game away."
