Irons youngster signs new contract

West Ham teenager Matt Fry has set his sights on a place in the first team after putting pen to paper on a new two-year contract at Upron Park.[LNB] The 19-year-old defender spent much of last season on loan at League One side Gillingham before a knee injury resulted in a troubled spell at Charlton.[LNB]"I believe I have the qualities to become a first-team player at West Ham United," said Fry.[LNB]"If I am ready in a year or 18 months time, then I'll be pleased with my progress."[LNB]
