Hess hopes Nouble stays on

Gillingham have approached West Ham regarding the possible extension of Frank Nouble's loan stay at Priestfield.[LNB] The striker's month-long spell with Gills expires after Saturday's League Two trip to Torquay, but manager Andy Hessenthaler is looking to keep Nouble on board following an impressive stint to date in which he has scored twice in five starts.[LNB]The 20-year-old revealed earlier this week he is keen to prolong his time in Kent having enjoyed his stint at the club. And Gills will now he hoping parent club West Ham agree to an extension.[LNB]Hessenthaler told KentOnline: "I have spoken to West Ham and we should get a decision this week."[LNB]He added: "Frank wants to stay, which is great news, and that makes us feel good as a management team. The players and the football club should also be happy that someone like Frank is enjoying his time here.[LNB]"He has been effective in every game he has played. He is a handful and it's good news. We will be able to confirm that before the weekend."
