Kevin Blackwell was absolutely furious that referee Peter Walton ruled Kyle Naughton's header had crossed the line as his Sheffield United team were knocked out of the FA Cup at Hull[LNB].[LNB]The manager felt hard done by that the own goal stood when television replays were inconclusive, but that seems to be the default setting at his club. [LNB]Maybe they should work out how much they have lost from going out of the competition and sue the official for it.[LNB] [LNB]Look, there's Tevez: Kevin Blackwell looks for excuses as the Blades crash out of the cup[LNB]'The official has made a  decision when he's not 100 per cent sure and that's what's a disgrace,' Blackwell said. 'Managers lose their jobs over that. That's what they don't understand. I've got a family and kids.'[LNB]Now Walton is a long way off being a good referee and booked United's Billy Sharp for diving when he was fouled in the Hull penalty area but Blackwell is still in a job and it is a fair bet his children aren't in danger of going hungry.[LNB]   More from Hatchet Man... Simon Jordan [LNB]27/02/09 HATCHET MAN: Gray was pie in the Sky when he said Baggies lack fight - West Brom lack quality not bottle[LNB]27/02/09 HATCHET MAN: When players can count the fans at a near-empty Riverside, Pogatetz thinks it's brilliant practice for the second division[LNB]27/02/09 HATCHET MAN: If Liverpool send for Mourinho it will be Benitez's own fault - at least Jose knows how to sign contracts and win Premier League titles [LNB]27/02/09 HATCHET MAN: Kalou - not good enough as a striker, not good enough as a winger, not good enough for a new contract - except at Arsenal[LNB]27/02/09 HATCHET MAN: Plastic pitches and reserve teams: Don't Villa and Spurs just love the UEFA Cup experience?[LNB]26/02/09 HATCHET MAN: Happy, injury-free and motivated - childish Drogba forgets to complain and hobble now Guus rules the Stamford Bridge roost [LNB]26/02/09 HATCHET MAN: Toure, late for the game, late to ditch moneybags City, late to pledge loyalty to the Gunners - what a loyal club man he is[LNB]26/02/09 VIEW FULL ARCHIVE[LNB]  Asking Sheffield United to find a sense of proportion, it seems, is asking just a little too much.[LNB][LNB] [LNB]
