Hammers take on Posh
West Ham will kick-off their pre-season training with a friendly game against Peterborough United at London Road on Wednesday evening. West Ham will be without their World Cup players this evening as they have all been allowed an extra week off. Rob Green, Matty Upson, Valon Behrami and John Spector and star-midfielder Scott Parker will all join up with the squad for their pre-season tour of Germany this weekend. Tonight will mark Avram Grant’s first game in charge of the Hammers and he is tipped to introduce Hammers new-boy Thomas Hitzlsperger into his midfield. Tickets for tonights game are available from Peterborough United with standing sears costing only £17 for adults and £8 for U-16’s.
