Hammers still in Remy hunt

West Ham and Nice are still locked in talks regarding the proposed transfer of French international striker. Avram Grant see’s the 23-year-old as his preferred front-man and despite reported interest from Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Turkish side Fenerbache, a move to East London may well be on the cards. It is believed the Hammers have met Nice’s asking price of around £12 million, however personal terms may well be the sticking point to any deal. Nice chairman Gilbert Stellardo told lequipe.fr, “West Ham? Remy is definitely interested," "Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal? I have heard about their interest but I have had no contact. “The only clubs I have talked to are West Ham and Fenerbahce.”
