Hammers move for Argentine - Report

West Ham manager Avran Grant is closing in on the signing of Argentine striker Milton Caraglio, according to reports on Wednesday.[LNB] The Hammers have turned their attentions to the Rosario Central hitman as they look to bolster their attacking options.[LNB]Caraglio has been called up to the Argentina national team in the past, but saw injury prevent him from making his international debut.[LNB]West Ham have been frustrated in their attempts to bring in a new striker this summer, with a number of Premier League sides hoping to beat them to the signing of Nice ace Loic Remy.[LNB]Caraglio has now come onto West Ham's radar and the London outfit are believed to have agreed a fee in the region of £5million for the 22-year-old.[LNB]Caraglio is also thought to have agreed personal terms on his switch to Upton Park and is awaiting the necessary paperwork before making the move to England.
